How much does MediaTrove cost?
MediaTrove has three plans: Solo, Team and Studio. At the introductory price they cost US$9, US$29 and US$74 a month, or A$13, A$42 and A$105 in Australian dollars. The price is for one library, not for each person. It is free to try, with no card.

Every plan starts as a free trial: no card, and sample files to search straight away. Start a paid plan by 31 December 2026 to keep the introductory price for as long as you stay on that plan.

Every plan has every feature. The plans differ in how many people, how much storage and how much new video each month.

An hour of video shot on a phone takes about 5 GB. Images over 15 MB, PDFs over 20 MB, and TIFF and BMP images are stored but not described by the AI.
How long does the introductory price last?
Start a paid plan by 31 December 2026 and you keep the introductory price for as long as you stay on that plan.
Libraries that start a plan after that date pay the usual price: US$19, US$59 or US$149 a month (A$27, A$85 or A$215).
What do I get on the free trial?
The free trial is a real library with every feature. It holds up to 5 GB, analyses up to 2 hours of video in total, and has room for 2 people, 1 API key and 3 things to spot.
No card is needed. When you need more room, move to a plan. Everything you uploaded stays where it is.
What does “video analysed” mean?
Every video you upload is watched by the AI once, from start to end. That is how it finds the moments and the words spoken. A 30-minute video uses 30 minutes of your video time.
Video time is counted when the video is analysed. Deleting the video later does not give the time back. Photos, PDFs and searches are not counted.
What happens when I reach a limit?
New uploads past the limit are refused, with a message that says which limit it was. Nothing you have already stored is deleted or hidden, and search keeps working.
Video time starts again on the first day of each month. You can also add a top-up or move up a plan.
Can I buy more storage or video time without changing plan?
Yes. More storage is US$5 (A$7) a month for each 100 GB. More video time is US$15 (A$21) for 10 hours, bought once and used when you need it.
A top-up is useful for the first big upload, when you bring in years of old footage at once.
How do I start a plan?
Write to hello@mediatrove.ai and tell us which plan and which currency. We move your library to the plan by hand. There is no checkout in the app yet.
You can pay each month, or pay for a year and get 12 months for the price of 10.
Can I pay in Australian dollars?
Yes. You choose US dollars or Australian dollars when you start a plan, and the price stays in that currency.
Why is the price per library and not per person?
A shared library is worth more when more of the team uses it, so we do not charge for each person. Each plan includes a number of people: 2 on Solo, 10 on Team and 25 on Studio.
